Host Your Fundraiser at The Venues at Langtree

The Carolinas has a rich history of social impact movements and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that fuel social good worldwide. Causes need funding, and what better way to raise funds for those in need than by celebrating the impact, connecting relationally, and giving back to the community?

When planning a charity event in the Charlotte, Lake Norman, Mooresville, and Davidson, North Carolina area, no one beats the versatility, convenience, and style of The Venues at Langtree. With on-site catering and indoor and outdoor venues to choose from, your gala will impress your guests while generating funds for your cause.

The Pinky Swear Foundation, a national organization whose mission is helping kids with cancer and their families with financial and emotional support, can speak to how ideal the Venues were as a host for their fundraising galas.

Sue Ratcliffe, Pinky Swear’s All-Star Engagement Manager, executed two successful galas at The Venues in 2019 and 2020 (pre-pandemic). “When planning a fundraising event, the goal is always to raise as much money as possible,” says Ratcliffe. Not only did the Venues work with Pinky Swear to provide the fairest pricing possible, they were extremely flexible to work with.”

The expansive Pavilion allowed Pinky Swear to host their largest gala in history, with over 300 guests in attendance. Says Ratcliffe, “We maxed out the space with friends and donors! The Pavilion was an easy place to decorate as it’s a such a blank space. We were able to come in early to set up which was extremely helpful for our volunteers and event staff.”

The event space at The Venues at Langtree is expansive, with 16 acres and a charming trolley to transport your guests from one venue to another. Host a pre-event cocktail hour in the historic Mott House and move to the large pavilion for the main event. Dance the night away in the rustic barn with classic twinkle lights strung above or enjoy quiet conversations at the fire pit or in the boulder room with top donors.

Pinky Swear made great use of the property by holding registration and the Silent Auction in the Boulder Room, and a band, seating for 300+ and a buffet dinner in the Pavilion. Both galas were jam packed from start to finish, with Silent and Live auctions, meaningful speakers, videos projected via the Venues’ AV system and of course, dancing and socializing.

The Venues at Langtree is honored to have hosted the Pinky Swear Foundation, and looks forward to hosting your philanthropic events in the future. To learn more about the Pinky Swear Foundation, please visit: https://pinkyswear.org/
